The Lancia Beta is a mid-range car that was produced by the Italian car manufacturer Lancia from 1972 to 1984. The car is named after the second letter of the Greek alphabet as a continuation of the naming convention Lancia used during its first years of existence. Initially, the Lancia Beta was only available as a four-door hatchback (Berlina). Later, other body variants were added: a two-door Beta Coupé, a three-door Beta HPE shooting brake, the Beta Spider convertible with targa roof and roll bar and the four-door Beta Trevi sedan

The Beta Coupé came onto the market in the spring of 1974. The design was by Piero Castagnero, who had also designed the Lancia Fulvia Coupé in the 1960s.
The Beta Coupé was based on a shortened floorpan from the Berlina and was powered by the 1.6 and 1.75-litre twin-cam engines of 109 and 120 hp respectively. These models were officially referred to as the 1600 and 1800. The equipment was upgraded compared to the sedan.
In 1975 the Beta Coupé received a minor facelift with a slightly modified hood and a black radiator grille with chrome strips. After the discontinuation of the Fulvia Coupé in 1976, the Beta Coupé was also equipped with the 1.3-liter engine from the Berlina in order to continue to offer a coupé in the 1300 class.

Originating from Italy and already imported to the Netherlands and provided with a Dutch license plate.
Equipped with an MOT inspection until June 2025. The paintwork has some signs of wear, but absolutely no rust!

Executed in the beautiful dark red color: Rosso Arcoveggio, almost almost brown, which in combination with the velvet yellow interior is a feast for the eyes.

De Lancia Beta is een auto uit de middenklasse die van 1972 tot 1984 door de Italiaanse autofabrikant Lancia geproduceerd werd. De wagen is vernoemd naar de tweede letter van het Griekse alfabet als voortzetting van de naamgeving die Lancia tijdens zijn eerste bestaansjaren gebruikte. Aanvankelijk was de Lancia Beta alleen als vierdeurs hatchback (Berlina) beschikbaar. Later kwamen er nog andere carrosserievarianten bij: een tweedeurs Beta Coupé, een driedeurs Beta HPE shooting brake, de Beta Spider cabriolet met targa-dak en rolbeugel en de vierdeurs Beta Trevi sedan

In het voorjaar van 1974 kwam de Beta Coupé op de markt. Het ontwerp was van Piero Castagnero, die in de jaren 60 ook al de Lancia Fulvia Coupé getekend had.
De Beta Coupé was gebaseerd op een verkorte bodemplaat van de Berlina en werd aangedreven door de 1,6 en 1,75-liter motoren met dubbele nokkenas van respectievelijk 109 en 120 pk. Deze modellen werden officieel aangeduid als de 1600 en 1800. De uitrusting werd opgewaardeerd in vergelijking met de sedan.
In 1975 kreeg de Beta Coupé een kleine facelift met een licht gewijzigde motorkap en een zwart radiatorrooster met verchroomde strips. Na de stopzetting van de Fulvia Coupé in 1976 werd ook de Beta Coupé uitgerust met de 1,3-liter motor van de Berlina om een coupé te kunnen blijven aanbieden in de 1300 klasse.

Afkomstig uit Italie en reeds geimporteerd naar Nederland en voorzien van een Nederlands kenteken.
Voorzien van een APK keuring tot juni 2025. Het lakwerk kent wat gebruikerssporen, maar absoluut geen roest!

Uitgevoerd in de schiiterende donkerrode kleur: Rosso Arcoveggio, bijna tegen het bruin aan dit in combinatie met het velours gele interieur is een lust voor het oog om te zien.
Met achterin de voorgevormde zitplaatsen is het een voorloper op de gran turismos...
