1958 Maserati 3500GT

The Maserati 3500 GT was a significant model for Maserati, as it was the first road car to be built in relatively large volume.
In 1957, Maserati had officially withdrawn from motorsport, and their full attention was now on the production of Grand Turismo automobiles.
The Milanese coachbuilder Carrozzeria Touring, created the stunning design of the Maserati 3500GT.
With it's Superleggera ( superlight ) patent, tubular steel frame wrapped in aluminium bodypanels, resulted in a super light and stunning design.
The six cylinder inline engine came from the earlier Maserati 350S racing car, with triple Weber carburators.
The Maserati 3500GT was produced from 1957 until the end of 1960.

This beautiful Maserati 3500GT is one the early examples build, it was ordered in 1957, and delivered to it's first owner in 1958 in Italy.
Short after the delivery the owner dicided to paint the car in red.
Eventually the Maserati left Europe and enjoyed the roads in the United States for many years.
The Maserati came to The Netherlands in the end the 1980's, and after a few years the Maserati underwent a body off restauration wich took many years by very passioned Maserati enthousiasts.
The Maserati was again painted in Red. Six years ago the car was painted completly in it's Original color and also a new set of Borani rims with Pirelli tyres were added.
Resulting in an stunning Maserati 3500gt, not only a beauty to look at, but also an amazing car to drive.
